July 19-24, 2026
Over five immersive days, students collaborate to form groups, write and arrange music, rehearse daily, and prepare for an exciting final concert and recording session.
Led by Sweet Briar College’s Dr. Josh Harris, associate professor of music, other faculty, and students, the program blends band rehearsals with hands-on workshops in songwriting, sound design, live sound, gear essentials, and performance skills. Campers will use Sweet Briar’s studios, rehearsal rooms, and technology-rich spaces to create and refine their work in a supportive, fun, and inspiring environment.
By the end of the week, students will walk away with new skills, new friends, and the experience of performing in a fully produced show—complete with the sound and energy of a real concert setting.

- Cost: $1,500, including lodging, meals, snacks, and supplies
- Open to rising 9th-12th grade girls
