Cross Country
Sweet Briar’s Cross Country Camp offers runners the perfect blend of skill development, conditioning, and confidence-building on our beautiful 2,847-acre campus. Athletes will explore scenic trails, learn proper technique and pacing, engage in strength and mobility sessions, and enjoy team-building activities led by Sweet Briar’s coaching staff and student-athletes.
This camp is designed for runners of all experience levels who want to improve their speed, endurance, and race strategy in an encouraging, high-energy environment.

Lacrosse
Our Lacrosse Camp delivers two days of fast-paced, fundamental skill training with Sweet Briar’s collegiate coaches and players. Athletes will focus on stick work, shooting, footwork, defensive positioning, and small-sided game play designed to elevate their understanding of the game.
Whether new to lacrosse or preparing for the next competitive season, participants will benefit from individualized instruction, high-quality drills, and a positive, empowering training atmosphere.

Rowing
The Rowing Camp at Sweet Briar introduces athletes to the fundamentals of one of the most powerful and technique-driven sports. Participants will learn proper stroke mechanics, erg training, boat handling, teamwork, and on-water technique on our scenic campus lake.
Led by experienced rowing coach Troy Howell, this camp is perfect for newcomers interested in trying the sport or current rowers looking to refine their skills in a positive and inspiring setting.

Tennis
Tennis Camps at Sweet Briar provide a comprehensive introduction to stroke development, footwork, singles and doubles strategy, and competitive match play. Athletes will work closely with Sweet Briar’s coaching staff to build proper mechanics and strengthen on-court confidence.
Suitable for a variety of experience levels, this camp focuses on athletic development, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.

Volleyball - Ages 12-16
Sweet Briar’s Volleyball Camp offers athletes the chance to sharpen their skills and elevate their game. Players will receive focused instruction in serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and defensive systems—tailored for both developing and advanced athletes. Led by Sweet Briar’s collegiate coaching staff, each camp emphasizes technique, communication, game IQ, and competitive play. Participants will experience a fun, supportive environment designed to build confidence and enhance overall performance.
