2026 Equestrian Clinic Applications
Sweet Briar Two Day and One Day Junior Riding Clinics
Our two day and one day clinics are perfect opportunities to experience Sweet Briar!
From touring campus to riding with our instructors, this camp will allow riders to get a taste for collegiate riding while improving their horsemanship and knowledge of the American Forward System of Riding. Riders should feel comfortable riding a variety of horses at 2’6”.
Cost of the Two Day Clinic is $800, with $200 deposit due to confirm registration. Cost of the One Day Clinic is $200, due at acceptance to confirm registration. Students will be emailed with more information once accepted. Space is limited.

Sweet Briar Elite Equestrian Clinics
Geared towards high-schooled aged riders with competitive experience at 3’3” and 3’6”, these riding clinics focus on the collegiate riding formats and preparing riders to ride at the varsity level in college.
Students will improve horsemanship while learning how to set competitive goals. Sessions will include mounted instruction, video review and discussions about collegiate riding opportunities with coaches and current riders.
Cost of the camp is $800, with a $200 deposit due when accepted. Students will be emailed with more information once accepted. Space is limited.

Bring Your Own Horse Clinics
RETURNING IN 2026! Sweet Briar Equestrian is offering two Bring Your Own Horse Clinics! Bring your own horse and ride with Sweet Briar Instructors! Riders will work on the fundamentals of the American Forward System of Riding while enjoying the newly renovated historical Harriet Rogers Riding Center. Horses and riders should be comfortable walk, trot, and cantering in a group and should be jumping at least 2’6”.
Cost of this clinic is $900 which includes a stall with initial bedding provided. Riders will be responsible for caring for their horse for the entire duration of the clinic. Turnout will not be available. Horses will need to provide a current Coggins and vaccination record prior to arrival. Once the online application is complete, riders will be emailed with additional information.
